Graduated in Law, Journalism and Sociology, his passion for the sea also led him to study a Master in Oceanography and Marine Resources.
He works as journalist specialized in economics in El Diario Vasco and he is the editor of the magazine Europa Azul. This last publication is recognized for its work in offering content related to fishing and the marine economy, and is a reference among the Spanish fishing sector of which it has gone hand in hand since its first number in 1990.
His knowledge of the sector and of national and international current affairs makes him one of the leading Spanish journalists in maritime information.
