Sebastián Martín Sánchez (1966) is the heir to a deep-rooted fishing tradition that has shaped both his life and his understanding of the sea. As captain of his artisanal fishing boat Chinchín, he keeps his family’s legacy alive with respect, skill, and passion.

He is the founder and owner of the restaurant Chinchín Puerto, where fresh catch from the fish market takes center stage. Together with his wife, Lourdes Villalobos Pérez—also a fishing captain and chef—he leads a project that blends experience, authenticity, and a strong commitment to tradition.

His vision goes beyond the kitchen: through gastronomic catamaran routes along the eastern Costa del Sol, he offers a unique experience that brings together scenery, culture, and cuisine. In addition, his work as an advocate of fishing heritage helps preserve and highlight the roots of this traditional trade.
