From Cantabria. The son, grandson and great-grandson of caterers. He studied at the Santander School of Catering, and continued to learn at La Hacienda Benazuza, elBulli, Solar de Puebla Hotel Astuy, Hotel Infantado and Clavijo 38. He is now chef at San Sebastián 57.
Winner of the Cruzcampo Centenary Best Pincho Award. Runner-up in the GastroCanarias 2014 Best Canary Island Chef competition. Revelation chef in the 2016 La Opinión-La Provincia awards. Revelation chef in the 2016 Diario de Avisos awards. Declared Best Canary Island Chef in the 2017 “Qué bueno Canarias” guide.
He is Bib Gourmand Michelin 23, and holds a Repsol "Sol" distinction.
