The life of a swimmer in a saline environment

Swimming in a saline environment, such as the sea or a saltwater pool, presents unique challenges and benefits.
Swimmers must adapt to the properties of salt water, which affect buoyancy, resistance, and the sensation of the skin. Prolonged exposure to salt water can also have positive and negative effects on swimmers' health and performance.
Open water training can be more challenging due to the varying conditions of the sea, such as waves, currents and changes in temperature.
